Driven by its belief in the private sector’s role in supporting society and improving quality of life, Ouda Developments has launched the “A School for Every Developer” initiative to renovate and upgrade public schools.
The effort began at Osama bin Zaid School in Obour City, Qalyubia Governorate, as part of the company’s commitment to social responsibility and its desire to contribute to a better learning environment for Egyptian students.
The company views a real estate developer’s role as extending beyond building projects and integrated residential communities.
In its perspective, that responsibility also includes helping develop society and supporting sectors that directly affect people’s lives, especially education, which remains a cornerstone of human development and sustainable progress.
The initiative responds to the need to improve schools that require renovation and modernization.
Through this project, Ouda Developments aims to provide students with a more suitable educational environment by carrying out the necessary development and furnishing work in the selected school, based on its actual needs.
Rather than being limited to one school, the initiative marks the beginning of an ongoing approach through which the company plans to support other schools in need of meaningful intervention, within its capabilities and according to each school’s requirements.
This helps expand the initiative’s social impact over time.
As part of this vision, Ouda Developments has also launched the “A School for Every Developer” challenge, inviting real estate development companies operating in the Egyptian market to join the initiative by adopting a school and helping renovate and equip it.
The goal is to create a model of cooperation between the private sector and society in support of education.
The company believes that if each developer takes on one school, the collective impact can be significant—improving more schools and creating better educational conditions for more students.
Ouda Developments emphasizes that a developer’s success should not be measured only by the scale of its projects and investments, but also by the impact it leaves on the communities where it operates.
