President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi attended today the closing ceremony of the Egypt 2026 Forum, which reviewed the state’s most prominent achievements over the past years and development projects across various sectors, along with announcing the forum’s outcomes and showcasing young people’s and children’s visions for Egypt’s future.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the ceremony’s program began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a documentary film titled “What Happened at the Forum,” which reviewed the key discussions and ideas raised during the forum’s sessions.
A Tribute to Determination and Talent
The spokesperson added that President el-Sisi shook hands with young Mahmoud Mohamed, a person of determination from the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, who had expressed his wish to meet the President in the film shown at the opening session.
The President also greeted young Talia, who participated in singing with the opening choir.
Madbouly Presents State Projects Since 2014
The spokesperson explained that Dr.
Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, delivered a presentation covering a timeline of the state’s most notable developments between 2011 and 2014, then reviewed an interactive map of projects and achievements carried out from 2014 through 2026.
At the conclusion of his presentation, the Prime Minister presented President el-Sisi with a book documenting the state’s achievements over 12 years.
Development, Energy, and Egypt’s Future
The second part of the ceremony included a presentation titled “The Journey,” which reviewed the state-building process and the development projects achieved across various sectors.
It was followed by a presentation by an economic influencer addressing the challenges facing the energy sector in light of recent regional crises and their economic repercussions.
Three young influencers also highlighted, each in their field of specialization, the most prominent achievements of recent years, while a group of children from “Generation Alpha,” under the age of thirteen, presented a film titled “The Generation’s Dream,” in which they spoke about their aspirations and dreams for the future and their vision for Egypt in the coming years.
Announcing the Egypt 2026 Forum Outcomes
The Prime Minister then announced the outcomes of the Egypt 2026 Forum, before President el-Sisi invited Dr.
Mohamed Shaker, former Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, to review what was accomplished in the energy sector during a period the spokesperson described as precise and record-breaking.
Shaker noted the role President el-Sisi played in securing the best prices from international companies and helping save Egypt from the electricity crisis it was facing.
The ceremony also featured success stories of a number of Egyptian prodigies in various fields at the global level, and President el-Sisi took a commemorative photo with them.
“We Reviewed in Figures and Facts What Was Achieved”
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi delivered a speech at the closing ceremony, reviewing the forum’s discussions on the state’s reality and challenges, the achievements of recent years, and the visions presented for Egypt’s future.
President el-Sisi said: “Over the days of this forum, we witnessed together chapters of the nation’s journey.
We spoke extensively about Egypt—about a reality we live with all its challenges, about facts we wanted to place before you with full transparency and clarity, about a state for which we exert every possible effort to preserve, consolidate its pillars, and protect its capabilities, and about a bright future, God willing, that we aspire to and work toward with all determination and sincerity.”.
The President added: “We reviewed, in figures and facts, what was achieved on this nation’s soil—unprecedented accomplishments that would not have been realized in long decades.
We engaged in a rich and constructive dialogue together and listened to opinions, proposals, and ideas that contribute to shaping a vision for this nation’s future.”.
